Ode to Joy
It was a proud weekend for us as we watched our girl play at her first piano recital. She has been taking music lessons since September with a program called Music for Young Children. It is a great program that I'd highly recommend and Esmé loves it. I've even learned a lot myself! She chose the song Ode to Joy to play at her recital. (She announces it in the microphone, but it's hard to hear on the video.)

Just Chillin'
Every day I see Esmé hovering over her little sister, willing her to get up and play, run, and laugh with her. The anticipation of it all must be excruciating. In the meantime, Esmé has been giving Tyne lots of hugs and kisses until Tyne starts to feel smothered with affection and cries for someone to save her. I can already see the sister relationship sprouting.
